Oat cookies with honey and mermelade
Ingredients needed:
- 50gr oats(you can add more oats and quit some flour)
- 280gr flour
- 150gr sugar
- 1 egg and 1 egg yolk
- 1 spoonfull of baking powder
- 2 spoons of softened butter
- Quince candy or if you preffer mermermelade of your choice
- 2 spoons of honey
How to make them:
1 - Put the softened butter in a bowl and add the sugar, mix well.
2 - Add the egg and the honey, mix till the batter unifies, add oats and mix till combined, add the egg yolk. Put the flour little by little, and mix well It can stick a bit to your hands.
3 - Baking pan buttered and floured divide the mass in three and make sticks of batter to cut the cookies. Be sure to make a
hole for the filling.
4 -Fill the holes with filling of your choice, not too much, cause in the oven will boil. Preheat oven at medium heat (175°C) and bake them for about 10 minutes or when they be golden brown.
